2. The data we collect

When you contact us

If you use the contact form, write to us by email or call us, we receive the information you choose to give us: your name, your company, your email address, your phone number (optional in the form) and your message.

When you press "Send request", the contact form sends your details to Netlify, Inc., the company that hosts our website. Netlify stores the request in our account and forwards it to our email address. If the form can't be sent, your own email app opens with the message ready instead, and nothing reaches us until you send that email.

When you visit the website

Our website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. Like any web server, it automatically records technical information when a page is requested: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, your browser and device type, and the page you came from. These records are used to deliver the website and keep it secure. We do not use them to identify you or to build profiles.

What we do not collect

The website uses no cookies, no analytics, no advertising or tracking pixels and no social media plugins. The fonts and images are served from our own domain, so no third-party service is contacted when you browse. The details are in our cookie policy.

3. Why we use your data, and on what basis

• To reply to your request and discuss how we could work together. We do this because you asked us to, and with the consent you give in the contact form.
• To provide our services if you become a client, because it is necessary to perform our contract with you.
• To keep the website running and secure, through the technical records described above. This is our legitimate interest in operating a safe website.
• To meet our legal obligations, for example accounting and tax rules, or a lawful request from a public authority.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell personal data. We will not add you to a mailing list or send you marketing messages unless you ask us to.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with the service providers that help us run our business, and only as far as they need it:

• our email service provider, which receives and stores the messages you send us;
• Netlify, Inc. (United States), which hosts our website, keeps the technical records described above, and receives and stores the requests sent through the contact form.

We may also disclose data when the law requires it, for example to a court or a public authority.

5. International transfers

We work with companies internationally, and some of our service providers may store data on servers outside the United Arab Emirates. For example, Netlify, which hosts our website and our contact form, is based in the United States. When this happens, we make sure the transfer is permitted under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, for data from the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, that appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses are in place.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your messages for as long as we need them to handle your request and, if you become a client, for the duration of our relationship. After that, we keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as accounting and tax records, for the period it requires. This applies both to our mailbox and to the copy of contact form requests kept in our Netlify account. If we don't end up working together, you can ask us to delete your messages at any time.

The technical records of website visits are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period, under its own policies.

7. How we protect it

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the messages you send us is limited to the people who need them to reply to you or to work with you.

8. Your rights

Under UAE data protection law and, where it applies to you, the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

• be informed about how we process your data, and get a copy of it;
• have inaccurate data corrected, or your data erased;
• restrict or object to the processing of your data;
• receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, or have it sent to another organisation;
• withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was done before;
• not be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing.

To use any of these rights, write to director@service-wire.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on your request, and we will reply within the time the law requires.

You can also complain to a data protection authority: in the United Arab Emirates, the UAE Data Office; in the European Union or the European Economic Area, the authority of the country where you live; in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office.

9. Children

Our website and services are meant for businesses. They are not directed at people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, for example by adding a new service to the website, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
